Study on the Support for the Child neglect families at a community level

（目的）在日本，儿童忽视研究还没有完全发展起来。本研究的目的是为被忽视的儿童提出适当的社会工作和适当的社区支持网络系统。（方法）本研究包括163个被忽视家庭（0-18岁）的分析。（结果）几乎所有病例都是慢性的，表现为父母教养问题、生活环境问题、缺乏社交技能。孩子们的心理健康和行为越来越差。（结论）在此基础上，我们提出了16种不同的支持网络系统组合，包括地方机构、地方学校、日托、医疗系统和公共卫生。

(Objective) In Japan, child neglect study has not been fully developed. The goal of this study is to propose appropriate social work for neglected children and appropriate supporting network systems for them at a community level.(Methods) This study consists of analyses of 163 neglected families(children 0-18) supported by local agency.(Results) Almost all cases were chronic, showing parenting problem, living situation problem, and lack of social skills. Children were getting worse on mental health and behavior.(Conclusion) On the basis of these analyses, we propose, age-dependently, 16 different combinations of supporting network systems including local agency, local school, day care, medical system, and public health.
