The psychological foundations of neuropsychological assessment

本研究以日本学生为样本，对临床神经心理学评估的心理计量学基础进行了一系列的实验研究。主要研究结果如下：(1)阐明了练习效应在记忆和注意力测试中的性质；(2)收集了利手和用手对神经心理测试成绩影响的规范数据；(3)获得了临床环境下利手判断方法的提示性数据；(4)报道了有关健康成年人视觉空间注意特性的一些新发现；(5)收集了不同身体意象评估方法的基础数据。

This research project consisted of a series of experimental studies about the psychometric foundations of clinical neuropsychological assessment using Japanese student samples. The main results are as follows :(1) we clarified the property of practice effects in memory and attention test performance,(2) we collected the normative data about the effect of handedness and hand-used on the performance of neuropsychological tests,(3) we obtained the suggestive data about the method for determination of the handedness in the clinical setting,(4) we reported some new findings about the property of visuospatial attention in healthy adults, and(5) we collected the basic data about different methods for assessment of body image.
