Present conditions and issues of education for children with severe motor and intellectual disabilities and medical care dependent groups

近年来，研究发现特殊学校中有严重运动和智力残疾儿童以及医疗护理依赖群体（SMID-MCDG）的人数有增加的趋势。本研究的目的是通过对全国490所学校的调查，了解这些儿童的教育现状和问题。结果，915名儿童在189所学校的298个答复特殊学校，约40%的人在卧床不起的状态下接受教育。通过调查，也揭示了儿童的详细状况和对他们进行适当教育的许多问题。

Recently, it is suggested that there is increasing tendency of number of children with severe motor and intellectual disabilities and medical care dependent groups (SMID-MCDG)in special schools. The purpose of the present study was to investigate present conditions and issues of education for these children through the nationwide survey to 490 schools. As a result, 915 children were in 189 schools within responding 298 special schools and about 40%of them were educated in state of bedridden. Through the survey, detailed children's states and a lot of issues for appropriate education of them were also revealed.
