A study on the uniqueness of the modern medical education in Japan from the historical standpoint

回顾了学制和行医执照制度的历史变迁，批判性地考察了国立、公立和私立医学院的历史。通过这些调查，将日本医学院的历史划分为7个时期。对明治初期公立医学院的研究表明，明治10年代共有44所公立医学院。我主持了日本医学史学会第112届年会，概述了日本医学教育史。《日本医学教育史》一书出版。

The historical change of system of school and medical license was reviewed, and the history of national, public and private medical schools was critically surveyed. From these survey, the history of medical schools in Japan was divided into 7 periods. The research on the public medical schools in the early Meiji era revealed that 44 public medical schools were established in the Meiji 10's. I hosted the 112th annual congress of Japanese Society of History of Medicine to overview the history of medical education in Japan. The book "History of medical education in Japan" was published.
