The historical change of system of school and medical license was reviewed, and the history of national, public and private medical schools was critically surveyed. From these survey, the history of medical schools in Japan was divided into 7 periods. The research on the public medical schools in the early Meiji era revealed that 44 public medical schools were established in the Meiji 10's. I hosted the 112th annual congress of Japanese Society of History of Medicine to overview the history of medical education in Japan. The book "History of medical education in Japan" was published.

回顾了学校制度和行医许可证制度的历史变迁，回顾了国立、公立、私立医学院校的历史沿革。从这些调查中，日本医学院的历史被划分为7个时期。对明治初年公立医学学校的研究表明，明治十年S时期共建立了44所公立医学学校。我主持了第112届日本医学史学会年会，回顾了日本的医学教育史。出版了《日本医学教育史》一书。
