项目摘要

●研究実施の概要:報告者は、以下の三つの軸「(1)『正義論』以前のロールズの思想の研究」「(2)伝統的な社会思想(特に社会契約論・功利主義)と彼の思想の関係の研究」「(3)ロールズのメタ倫理学上の立場「道徳的構成主義」の研究」を中心に、「ジョン・ロールズの社会正義論における功利主義批判の本来の意義の分析」に関する研究を進めた。軸(1)において、これまで注目されてこなかったロールズの博士論文に着目し、ロールズが博士論文以来「道徳的知識の探求の適切な基盤・観点」を主題としてきたこと、この視座から功利主義批判および「道徳的構成主義」を提唱したこと(軸(2)(3))を示した。また2011年1月31日より、米国イェール大学哲学科客員研究員として、上記三軸を総合した博士論文の執筆を進めた(同年6月1日まで滞在予定)。●本年度の研究内容:前年度の日本哲学会での個人発表「ロールズは功利主義の何を批判していたのか」(2009年5月、東京・慶応義塾大学三田キャンパス)をもとに、北海道大学文学研究科論集に論文「ロールズの功利主義批判と『人格の区分の重視』」を投稿、同論集第10巻(2010年)に収録された(軸(2)に関連)。また、日本倫理学会(2010年10月、東京・慶応義塾大学三田キャンパス)にて、ロールズの博士論文に着目し、道徳的知識の探求という観点からロールズと功利主義の比較を試みる個人発表「R.M.ヘアのロールズ批判再考」を行った(軸(1)(2)に関連)。最後に、北海道大学文学研究科「組織的な若手研究者等海外派遣プログラム」の支援を受け、2011年1月31日より(年度をまたぎ)同年6月1日まで、米国イェール大学哲学科客員研究員として、同学科所属のS・ダーウォル教授の指導の下、上記三軸を総合した博士論文の執筆を現在も進行中である。

Summary of the study: the whistleblower, the following three chapters: (1) "discussion" in the past, the study of the thought of love in the past "(2) the study of the traditional social thought (special social contract theory of utilitarianism)" (3) the formation of the moral position in the Neo-Confucianism and the formation of the center of the "study". The content of this year's research: in the previous year, the Japanese philosophy Society made a personal statement on the utilitarian criticism of the Japanese philosophy Society (May 2009, Mada Shimbuku University, Hokkaido University. It is the same as set 10 (2010).
