项目摘要

本研究の目的は、ユーザの情報収集を支援する新しい検索システムを開発することである。具体的には、(1)個々のユーザに応じて最適な検索結果を提供する技術の開発、(2)検索結果と共に検索結果の要約を提供する技術の開発を目指す。当該年度は、昨年度に開発した検索エンジンをベースに、適合性フィードバックの研究に取り組んだ。適合性フィードバックは、パーソナライズド・サーチを実現する手法の一つであり、ユーザとのインタラクション(フィードバック)を通してユーザが求める検索結果を取得する技術である。本研究では、検索結果中及びフィードバック中に潜在するトピックの分布を推定し、これを用いて適合性フィードバックを行う手法を開発した。開発した手法は既存の適合性フィードバックの手法より高い性能を示した。また、少量のフィードバックで検索結果を改善できるという長所を示した。本研究の成果はInternational Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing(IJCNLP 2011)で発表した。また、この内容を発展させたものを論文誌に投稿中である。また、当該年度は、Update Summarizationと呼ばれるタスクにも取り組んだ。これは、互いに関連する二つの文書セットから、内容が重複しないように、二つの要約を生成するタスクである。本研究では、トピックモデルを用いて二つの文書セットのそれぞれに特徴的なトピックおよび単語を抽出し、これに基づいて要約を生成する手法を開発した。このタスクに対する研究の成果は、国際会議に投稿する予定である。

The purpose of this study is to support the development of new information systems. Specifically,(1) technical development for providing optimal search results for each search, and (2) technical development for providing search results for each search are indicated. When the year is over, Update Summarization calls for a change in focus. The two documents are related to each other, the content is repeated, and the two offers are generated. In this study, we developed a method to extract and generate basic information about the characteristics of the two documents. The results of this research are scheduled for submission to international conferences.
