申請者は人々の意思決定における情動の影響について、修士論文であるMurooka(2009)の一般化、および米国Uni-ver-sity of Illi-nois at Urbana-Champaign助教授のMing Hsu氏らとの共同研究、の二点について研究を行っている。まず、申請者はMurooka(2009)において人々の効用に「公平性(fairness)」という情動を組み入れたpsychological gameのモデルの研究を行い、またTrust Gameの文脈において第三者がTrusteeに送るメッセージがTrusteeの行動にどのような影響を及ぼすかについて中央大学においてパイロット実験を行った。この研究については、米国Arizona State University助教授の田中知美氏と打ち合せの上、米国にて本実験を行い、その実験結果をもとにモデルを構築する予定である。この研究を通じて、情動とコミュニケーションの関係がどのように人々の経済行動に結びつくかを究明したい。また、近年注目されているニューロエコノミクスの分野において、申請者は2007年8月より東京大学大学院工学系研究科准教授の渡邊正峰氏、同研究科博士課程の上野有実子氏、東京工業大学大学院総合理工学研究科博士課程の野澤真一氏、東京大学大学院経済学研究科修士課程の今井泰佑氏、および米国Uni-ver-sity of Illi-nois at Urbana-Champaign助教授のHsu Ming氏と共同研究を行っている。研究内容はMurooka(2009)と同じく、人々の情動を対象とするものである。申請者はMurooka(2009)において「公平性」の情動を分析しているが、現実の意思決定において重要な影響を及ぼす情動は他にも存在すると考えられる。この共同研究では人々が持つ「恥(shame)」という情動について、(1)理論モデル、(2)行動実験、(3)MRI(磁気共鳴映像撮影装置)内での実験による脳活動の計測、の三つのパートから分析を試みている。申請者は(1)および(2)において主体となって研究しており、(1)についてAndreoni and Bernheim(2008, forthcoming in Econometrica)モデルをもとに新たな理論モデルを構築し、いくつかの仮定の下でそのモデルの均衡が存在することを示した。今後な実験計画の細部を調整ののち、米国Uni-ver-sity of Illi-nois at Urbana-Champaignにおいて行動実験を行う予定である。

The applicant's research on the influence of emotion on rational decision-making, the generalization of Murooka(2009), the Universe-status of Illi-nois at Urbana-Champaign Assistant Professor Ming Hsu's joint research, and the two-point research. Murooka(2009), the applicant, conducted a study on fairness and organization of psychological games in the context of the Trust Game, and conducted a study on the influence of third-party Trustee on Trustee's actions. This research was conducted by Tomi Tanaka, assistant professor at Arizona State University, and was conducted in the United States. The study of the relationship between human and social behavior is of great significance. In August 2007, Mr. Watanabe, Associate Professor, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Tokyo, Mr. Ariko Ueno, PhD Program, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Technology, Mr. Shinichi Nozawa, PhD Program, Graduate School of Economics, University of Tokyo, Mr. Yasuyuki Imai, The Universe-Identity of Illi-Nois at Urbana-Champaign Assistant Professor Hsu Ming's Joint Research Program Murooka(2009) and his research. The applicant responded to Murooka(2009) by analyzing the impact of "fairness" on current rational decision-making and by examining the impact of other factors on the situation. This joint research is aimed at the following aspects: (1) theoretical research,(2) practical research,(3) measurement of practical activities in MRI(magnetic resonance imaging), and (4) analysis of practical activities. The applicant responded to (1) the main body of research,(2) Andreoni and Bernheim(2008, forthcoming in Econometrica), and (3) the existence of a new theoretical framework. In the future, the details of the plan will be adjusted and the United States Uni-ver-sity of Illi-nois at Urbana-Champaign will be determined.
