優秀若手研究者海外派遣事業により、Mohammad Bagheri氏の受入の許、テヘラン大学科学史研究所に所属し、研究期間の大半をイランで過ごした。前年度にサマルカンドで行った報告とそこでの議論を基に、研究所の機関誌Tarikh-e 'Elmに『イル・ハン天文表』に記載された中国暦法の来歴についての論文を寄稿した。従来この暦法の導入に大きな役割を果たしたとされてきたウイグルの影響は、少なくとも『イル・ハン天文表』の中国暦法に関してはほとんど見られず、同暦法は中国からフラグ・ハンに随行した道教徒によってもたらされたものであることをペルシア語史料と漢語史料を突き合わせ、天文表内の中国暦法の数理的記述を検討することで明らかにした。夏にはBagheri氏とともにイラン、ギーラーン州の州都ラシュトに赴いた。ギーラーン州サーケブ天文学協会の例会に出席し、そこで自らの研究を報告する機会を得た。報告後、生徒たちや運営の教員・学生たちとの交流の機会もあり、アウトリーチ活動として意味のあるものになったのではないかと思う。年末には昨年度シンガポールで行った報告を、当該ワークショップの論集に載せることが出来た。報告の内容に改訂を加え、ペルシア語文化圏に普及する新春祭ノウルーズが、前近代と近代においていかに異なる時間概念の中で認識されていたかを述べた。2月にはイラン国立図書館において『イル・ハン天文表』の著者であるトゥースィーの哲学・科学的業績についての国際会議で報告を行った。『イル・ハン天文表』だけでなく、その後にペルシア語文化圏で著された天文表に見られる中国暦法のテクニカルタームについて検討した。音写されアラビア文字天文表に記載されたこれらの用語を検討することで、同暦法が中国の官暦ではなく、民暦の性質を持っていることを明らかにした。この報告と先の論文を併せてペルシア語文化圏における中国暦法の受容と継承の様相について、一定の成果をあげることができたと考える。
