本研究の目的は、日本自動車メーカーの情報通信技術(Information and Communication Technology、以下ICTと略記)を活用した国際部品調達システムの現状を探ることによって、日本自動車産業における企業間関係の方向性と課題を明らかにすることである。国際部品調達システムにおける企業間相互作用の成果を決定する鍵が、当該取引における産業特性や製品特性、関係特性、情報化特性によって左右されるという認識に基づいて分析を行った。今年度は、部品調達の情報化と企業間分業構造を軸とした分析枠組みの精緻化に目的を絞って研究を行った。とりわけ、関係性マーケティングおよびサプライヤー・システム論を巡る理論的基盤の整備に焦点を合わせっている。欧米における関係性マーケティング研究の再検討を行い、実証研究に向けた基盤を構築することで、日本における当該領域の研究水準を欧米の水準まで引き上げることを目的としている。日本自動車メーカーの国際部品調達システムの現状については、企業ごとに歴史的経緯や戦略的意図が異なることから定性調査が有効であると思われる。今年度は日本自動車メーカーにおける部品調達システムにおけるICTの活用や企業間分業構造の変化について再調査を行うとともに、日本と韓国の業界標準ネットワークについてインタビュー調査を行った。その成果の一部を中央大学企業研究所『企業研究』、および日本流通学会全国大会で発表した。今年度の研究ではICTの活用を巡る単純な収斂論は存在しないということが明らかになった。
