Epidemiological study was conducted to estimate the HIV/STDs prevalence and related risk factors among migrant population in border area of Yunnan, China. Respondent Driven Sampling method was used and so-called 'hard-to-reach-population'-female sex workers were included to our survey, our findings revealed the high prevalence of STDs and poor STI-related knowledge among this population. This research suggests the importance of international cooperation on infectious diseases preventive system aimed migrant population, not only for those Southeast countries but also for those have economic active in this hot zone, including Japan.

为了解云南省边境地区流动人口HIV/STD流行情况及相关危险因素，对流动人口HIV/STD流行情况进行了流行病学调查。采用问卷驱动抽样方法，调查对象为“难以接触人群”--女性性工作者，结果显示，该人群性病患病率高，性病知识知晓率低。这项研究表明，针对流动人口的传染病预防系统的国际合作的重要性，不仅对东南亚国家，而且对那些在这个热点地区，包括日本经济活跃。
