We identified that transcriptional repressors namely B lymphocyte maturation protein 1(Blimp1) and B cell lymphoma 6(Bcl6) critically regulate osteoclast differentiation and bone homeostasis(J Exp Med 2010). We also identified that osteoclast stimulatory transmembrane protein(OC-STAMP) is required for osteoclast cell-cell fusion(J Bone Miner Res in press).
