The purpose of this study is to compare the working poor in advanced countries. Also it is based on a uniform definition. For this purpose, firstly, the minimum standards of living in advanced countries are examined. Secondly, microdata in advanced countries are examined. As results of this study, the working poor in advance countries are most likely to be found among the young, those with a low level of education, those in unstable employment, self-employed and those working in a company having few employees. On the other hands, the percentage of the working poor is high among the 25-34 and 35-44 female age groups in Japan, though this is not the case in the other advanced countries.

这项研究的目的是比较发达国家的贫困劳动者。此外，它基于统一的定义。为此，首先考察了发达国家的最低生活水平。其次，考察了发达国家的微观数据。这项研究的结果是，在年轻人、受教育程度较低的人、就业不稳定的人、个体户和在员工人数较少的公司工作的人中，最有可能发现提前进入贫困国家的人。另一方面，在日本25-34岁和35-44岁的女性年龄段中，贫困劳动者的比例很高，尽管其他发达国家的情况并非如此。
