项目摘要

平成24年(2012年)度は、修士論文以来のテーマであるH・ラスキの政治思想研究をさらに進展させ、その内容を学会報告および投稿論文の形で公表した。第一に、修士論文の対象であった1920年代ラスキの主権国家論(多元的国家論)を、とりわけカトリック教会と労働組合に着目しながら投稿論文にまとめ、『政治思想研究』に掲載した。ラスキの初期国家論の本格的検討はこれまでなされてこなかった分野であり、本論文では、ラスキの初期著作の内実は重厚な中世教会史研究であったこと、労働組合への着目はむしろ1930年代以降のラスキの関心であったことなどを示した。第二に、ラスキの思想変遷を追う形で考察対象の時代をあらため、1930年代におけるラスキのソ連認識、ファシズム認識を対象として、その時代的変容を考察した。ラスキの共産主義認識は長らく冷戦構造の地場のなかで捉えられ、その評価も冷戦的発想によって二分されてきたが、当研究では1930年代の新聞コラムや同時代的評論の実証的な読解の下、ラスキのソ連認識の好意的変容の過程を思想史的に描写した。当研究の内容は『年報政治学2012-H』に掲載された。第三に、1940年代におけるラスキの「同意革命論」を取り上げ、社会思想史学会第37回研究大会にて報告した。ラスキ「同意革命論」は、第二次大戦期における総力戦体制と政治的危機意識の蔓延を、そのままイギリスの社会主義化につなげようとしたラスキの政治実践であり、結果的には失敗におわったこの試みについて、「学者/知識人の政治関与」の視点から再評価を試みた。その他、金沢大学の仲正昌樹先生が編者となった、学部生向けの政治思想史の教科書『政治思想の知恵』(法律文化社、2013年)に、「ベンサム」を寄稿した。
