Research concerning current conditions and problems in the content and practice of In-service teacher training from a gender viewpoint

本研究以2010年全国各地市、指定城市和核心城市的教育中心为研究对象，采用问卷调查和访谈记录的方法，探讨了近年来教师在职培训中“性别平等”、“性别公平”等主题在法律教师培训内容和实践中的性别问题。这些调查表明，学校和教育中的性别平等和性别公平的内容在教师培训中受到的重视不够。此外，包括性别平等内容在内的教师培训往往作为人权教育的一部分进行；总而言之，关于性别平等的教师培训很难确立为独立的内容或方案。

This research discusses the gender issues on content and practice of the legal teacher training how the subjects such as "gender equality" and "gender equity" in education have been taken up in in-service training of teachers recently, using questionnaires and interview-records in targeting the education centers of prefectures, designated cities and core cities in 2010.These surveys make it clear that the contents on gender equality and gender equity in schools and education are not treated enough in the scene of teacher training. In addition, the teacher training including the contents about gender equality tend to have been carried out as a part of the human rights educations; in a word, the teacher training concerning gender equality is hardly established as an independent content or program.
