We characterized the membrane phase separation structures in oxidized cholesterol(Chol)-containing systems. 7-kotocholesterol(7-keto) and 7beta-hydoroxycholesterol(7beta).Especially, the phase separation was strongly enhanced in Chol/7keto system. On the other hand, the phase separation was suppressed in 7beta-containing system. Our results showed that the hydrophilic interactions among lipids and cholesterols play important roles in formation and stability of domain structures.
