The trumpeter and herald competitions in the ancient Olympic Games were included in the artistic competition. The Olympic Charter says that the Olympic host city must hold a culture program as well as sport competitions. The cultural program has begun since 1992 Barcelona Olympics, and its program was was called Cultural Olympiade because it started from the end of the fore Games. The new Olympiade begins at January 1st when the Olympic Games will be celebrated in that summer. Then we should continue the cultural program after the Olympic Games as one of the Olympic legacy of culture and art.We should appeal the ideal of professor Jigoro Kano, contents of physical education in schools and the spirit of Japanese culture for the cultural exchange and international communication for the future Olympic Games.

古代奥运会中的号手和传令兵比赛都被列入了艺术比赛项目。《奥林匹克宪章》规定，奥运会主办城市必须举办文化活动和体育比赛。文化项目从1992年巴塞罗那奥运会开始，它的项目被称为文化奥林匹克，因为它是从前一届奥运会结束时开始的。 新的奥林匹克运动会于1月1日开始，届时奥运会将在夏季举行。作为奥运会文化艺术遗产之一的奥运会后的文化项目，我们应该将鹿野治五郎教授的理念、学校体育的内容、日本文化的精神等作为未来奥运会的文化交流和国际交流的诉求。
