Longitudinal research of Japanese writing ability of foreign children born in Japan

本研究旨在通过分析在日出生的外国儿童所写的关于学校旅行的作文，揭示他们的读写能力发展的特点。为此，论文从几个角度进行分析，并纵向调查。我们对汉字的使用情况、结构的复杂程度以及词汇量进行了定量分析。此外，我们还提取了汉字和语法错误，并对它们进行了分析。结果表明，即使出生在日本的外国儿童，其识字能力的发展也有不同于日本儿童的特点。

The purpose of this study is to reveal the characteristic of the development of the literacy of foreign children born in Japan through the analysis of essays about school trips they wrote. For this purpose the essays were analyzed from several perspectives and investigated longitudinally. We analyzed quantitative the use of Chinese characters and complexity of structure and the amount of the vocabulary were analyzed. In addition, we extract the error of character and grammatical errors, and analyzed them. Furthermore the contents and the structure of the essays were analyzed with qualitatively.The results show that foreign children even if born in Japan, has features that is different from the Japanese children in the development of literacy.
