The study of English prepositions and its application to teaching materials based on high school-college liaison

在这项研究中，我们研究了各种英语介词。我们学过的介词之一是“at”。我们发现，典型的英日词典最终描述了日语中“at”的各种用法，从教育的角度来看，这是不令人满意的。相反，我们认为，“at”的唯一含义是“规范”，而“at”的所谓含义列表实际上是“at”的各种用法。基于这一观察，我们制作了包括“at”在内的各种英语介词的教材，为我校的英语教育做出了贡献。

In this study we took up various English prepositions. One of the prepositions we studied is "at". We found out that typical English-Japanese dictionaries ended up describing various usages of "at" in Japanese, which is not satisfactory from an educational point of view. We argued instead that the only meaning "at" has is "specification" and that the list of purported meanings of "at" is actually various usages of "at". Based on this observation, we created the teaching materials concerning various English prepositions including "at" and contributed to the English education in our university.
