Photo-induced One-step Synthesis of Polycyclic Compounds

苯中1-氰基-2-（5-芳基-4-炔基）萘衍生物经Pyrex辐照后，通过[2+2]分子内光环加成得到了收率较高的苯并环四烯衍生物。该溶液经长时间照射后，经分子内1,3-双基环化，有效地获得苯并三醌类化合物。在分子二氧的存在下，1,3-双自由基中间体被捕获得到五元1,2-二氧氧烷。

Irradiation of 1-cyano-2-(5-aryl-4-alkynyl)naphthalene derivatives in benzene through Pyrex afforded benzocyclooctatetraene derivatives via [2+2] intramolecular photocycloaddition in good yields. Prolonged irradiation of this solution efficiently gave benzotriquinanes via transannular process followed by intramolecular cyclization of 1,3-biradicals. In the presence of molecular dioxygen, 1,3-biradical intermediates were trapped to give five-membered 1,2-dioxolanes.
