Effect of trace elements on pregnancy, delivery and new born

本研究旨在评估孕妇血铅浓度与妊高征（PIH）之间的关系。参与者为112名孕妇，其中4人患有妊高征。正常组血铅浓度（1.23±1.4 μg/dl）与PIH组血铅浓度（1.17±0.9μg/dl）差异无统计学意义。本研究结果表明，极低水平的铅暴露可能不是PIH的危险因素。需要更多参与者的进一步研究来阐明东京孕妇低血铅水平与妊高征之间的关系。

This study was conducted to assess the relationship between maternal blood lead concentrations and pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH). Participants were 112 pregnant women, of whom 4 were PIH. There were no significant differences in blood lead concentrations between normal cases (1.23 ±1.4 μg/dl) and PIH cases (1.17±0.9μg/dl). The results of this study suggested that very low level lead exposure might not be a risk factor for PIH. Further studies with larger numbers of participants are needed to clarify the relationship between low blood lead levels and PIH among pregnant women in Tokyo.
