项目摘要

本年度は、昨年度に重点的に調査・収集した史料をもとに、まず1730年代の青海ホシュート部のチベットへの政治的影響を考察した。そして、1723年に清朝の支配下に編入された後の1730年代初頭においても、青海ホシュート部が再びチベットでの政治的影響力を回復することを清朝は警戒し、青海ホシュート部の影響力を削ぐための施策を展開していたことを明らかにし、The13^<th> Seminar of the International Association for Tibetan Studiesにおいて"Conferral of the Title of the Khan of Tibet and the Decline of the Qinghai Khoshut in the 1730s"と題して口頭発表を行った。続いて、『清内閣蒙古堂档』からチベット語及びモンゴル語に翻訳された清朝皇帝の詔とその処理過程を記した文書を見出し、それに基づき清朝とチベット・青海ホシュート部との関係を、清朝の中華王朝的儀礼の側面から検討した。その結果、清朝がチベットや青海に対して詔を頒布する際に、頒布する詔の種類を遺詔や登極詔など皇帝自身に直接関係するものに限定し、またその詔の頒布方法も特にチベットに対して清朝の管理下にあったラマを同行させるなど、一般的な詔の頒布の規程とは異なる方法で頒布していたことを明らかにした。さらに、チベット側ではこれら皇位継承の際に発せられた詔を受け取る際に、先代皇帝への供養を行いチベット仏教の仏事を実施していたことを指摘し、中華王朝的儀礼の適応においても、チベット仏教に基づく関係性が影響を与えていたと結論付けた。そして、この内容を「チベット文遺詔・登極詔の頒布のあり方からみる清朝―チベット関係の一側面」と題して第61回日本チベット学会大会において口頭発表を行い、それを再構成した論文を『日本西蔵学会々報』に投稿中である。
