项目摘要

近年の実験技術の向上によりマイクロスケールの粒子を自由に操作・観測することが可能になった．そのため，微小系の熱力学構造を論じる枠組みである「揺らぎのエネルギー論」が着目を浴びている．この枠組みは確率過程を用いて微小系のエネルギー流入を論じ，熱力学と関係づける．しかし，今までの研究は熱揺らぎに関わるエネルギー論のみを議論しており，非熱的揺らぎのエネルギー論を研究していなかった．熱揺らぎはガウスノイズで典型的に特徴付けられるのに対し，非熱的揺らぎは非ガウスノイズによって特徴付けられる事が知られている．そこで研究実施者は，揺らぎのエネルギー論を非ガウスノイズに拡張し，非熱的揺らぎのエネルギー論を議論することにした．本年度は，エネルギーポンプと微視的導出の観点から非熱的揺らぎを研究した．まずエネルギーポンプについて説明する．熱力学においてエネルギーポンプの研究は基礎論として本質的であった．そこで非熱的揺らぎの特徴をエネルギーポンプの観点から特徴付ける研究を執り行い，非熱的揺らぎから仕事を取り出す公式を導出した．この現象を電気回路・生物系で議論し，２本の論文にまとめた．これらはPhysical Review Eから出版された．次に，微視的導出の観点から非熱的揺らぎを研究した．非熱的揺らぎのモデルとして非ガウス型のランジュバン方程式が有効である事は現象論的に知られていたが，このモデルを微視的に導出する方法は今まで知られていなかった．そこで本研究では，運動論を出発点に漸近展開を行い，主要項として非ガウスランジュバン方程式が導出されることを示した．更に，この理論を具体的な非平衡粉体系に適応した．以上の内容を２本の論文にまとめた．一本はPhysical Review Lettersから既に出版され，もう一本はJournal of Statistical Physicsに投稿中である．
