项目摘要

本研究の最終年度にあたる平成26年度は、これまでの研究成果を世に問うことを主たる目的とした。まず、中世イベリア半島に存在した「辺境」あるいは「境域」と、他の地域・時代の「フロンティア」との比較研究に関して、本研究によるヘレス市立古文書館の未刊行史料調査で得られた成果を用いながら、実証的に自論を公表した。［歴史学研究会大会報告（5月25日）／『歴史学研究』924号掲載論文を参照］地域・時代を問わず生成され続ける「辺境」は、我々の想定する文化・文明の「中心」とは異なる振る舞いをみせる。「中心」自体の再考を促すことのできる「辺境」比較研究のもつ潜在的な可能性について、本研究期間にわたって広く議論し、さらなる共同研究への道筋をつけられた。この点において、三年間にわたって実施されてきた本研究の目的は、ひとまず達成されたと自負している。なお、本研究の成果に関して、研究書の形での刊行が予定されている。とはいえ、本研究の実施に伴って、当初予定していなかった多数の未刊行史料が、かつての「辺境」に位置する諸古文書館に残存していることが新たに判明した。この調査のひとまずの成果として、カスティーリャ＝グラナダ「境域」におけるヒト・モノの動きの実態に関する実証研究を実施し、当該「辺境」における異教徒間交易の実像を論文として公表した。［『スペイン史研究』28号掲載論文を参照］また、キリスト教・イスラームという二つの宗教のあいだを行き来する人々の生き様を、改宗という行為に着目することで、「辺境」に居住する民の信仰の問題に新たに着手している。今後は、本研究で提示することのできた「辺境」比較研究の枠内で、イベリア半島の事例を更に実証的に検討していく予定である。現在の情勢にも大いに関わるキリスト教圏とイスラーム圏との狭間に形成された中世イベリア半島の「辺境」史の意義を提示していくことになろう。

The final year of this study was 26 years ago. In this paper, the author makes a comparative study of the existence of the Peninsula in the Middle Ages and other regions and times, and finds out the results of the investigation of unpublished historical materials in the Municipal Ancient Library. [Report of the General Assembly of the Society for Historical Research (May 25)/"Historical Research" No. 924 Publication Paper Reference] Region, era, question, generation,"boundary","thought," culture, civilization,"center","vibration","dance", etc. A reexamination of the "center" itself is necessary to promote the development of the "boundary" comparative study and to explore the potential possibilities of the "boundary" comparative study. During the period of this study, there were many discussions and joint research on the "boundary" of the "boundary". The purpose of this study is to achieve the goal of the three years. The results of this study are related to the publication of the book. This study was carried out in conjunction with the original determination of most of the unpublished historical materials, and the location of the "boundary" was determined by the existence of various ancient libraries. The results of this investigation are presented in this paper.
