We established a new mouse model of spondylosis. In this model, we identified that annulus fibrosus cells exhibit hypertrophic change morphologically with expression of type 10 collagen. Also we succeeded in identifying a candidate gene which can be a marker of annulus fibrosus of intervertebral disc.
