This study examines the relationship between Sufi orders andsocio-political movements in early twentieth century Egypt, by paying special attention tothe pan-Islamic trends prevalent in this period. As the cases to illustrate Sufis’ involvementin socio-political movements, I focused on two pan-Islamic organizations in which someprominent Sufis were involved. A close analysis on the organizational significance andhistorical background that support the founding and activities of these two organizationsreveals the way Sufis of this period actively participated in these movements.

这项研究考察了二十世纪初埃及苏菲派秩序和社会政治运动之间的关系，特别关注了这一时期盛行的泛伊斯兰趋势。作为说明苏菲派参与社会政治运动的案例，我重点关注了两个泛伊斯兰组织，一些著名的苏菲派参与了其中。仔细分析支持这两个组织成立和活动的组织意义和历史背景，可以看出这一时期苏菲派积极参与这些运动的方式。
