The questionnaire study revealed that interpreters/guides for deaf-blind people in Japan had much musculoskeletal symptoms. Those who carried out interpreter/guides activities more often suffered from musculoskeletal pain. Prevalence of musculoskeletal pain was also different in their interpreting way to communicate. We concluded that management on interpreter/guide activities was important to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders.
