当該（平成２５）年度に実施した研究の成果は次のとおりである．成果の一つは，生活科スタンダード試案開発のための基礎情報としての実践例収集である．国内の教育研究所や小学校への訪問調査により「指導案等指導資料」「授業記録」「実践者へのヒヤリング」等を収集した．子どもの体験的な活動を通して子どもの気づきを高める実践例を多く収集することができた．特に単元指導計画形式での資料はドイツの事実教授との比較分析の資料として活用ができる．ただし歴史的内容を取り上げたものはきわめて少なく今後も調査収集が必要である．成果の二つは，ドイツ歴史教育をてがかりにした歴史教育の考察である．その第一はニーダーザクセン州及びヘッセン州の指導要領等の文献分析を通して初等段階と中等段階との接続の観点に基づいて歴史教育について考察することができたことである．これについては研究分担者による口頭発表としてまとめることができた．その第二はドイツの事実教授における歴史学習の重要性を主張する学者や，事実教授と歴史科の接続の重要性を主張する歴史教授学者の協力により，事実教授における歴史学習のあり方や，子どもと生活界と後続する教科の知識体系との関連づけについての知見を得ることができたことである．大きな成果二点に対し課題は生活科実践例と事実教授における歴史学習との比較分析が十分でないことである．しかしながら，当該（平成２５）年度と翌（平成２６）年度との二年間をかけ比較分析を進める計画であったところ，当該（平成２５）年度をもって研究を廃止することとなったものであり，収集した資料や知見をもとにした分析は今後も継続していきたい．
