项目摘要

平成２８年度は、これまでの研究成果を日本語の単著のかたちにまとめることに最も注力した。その結果、平成２８年６月に単著『国家と対峙するイスラーム　マレーシアにおけるイスラーム法学の展開』（作品社）を刊行した。この著書は、特別研究員としての研究課題である、東南アジアと中東、南アジアをつなぐウラマー（イスラーム学者）のネットワークが東南アジアにおけるイスラーム法学発展にどのように寄与してきたのか、という歴史的な過程を明らかにしたものである。この著書でまとめられた研究は、特別研究員としての三年間に行われた東南アジアでの現地調査、資料収集、資料の分析に基づいている。これまでの研究をまとめるに際して、平成２８年度中にもマレーシア、インドネシアでの現地調査を行った。この現地調査は、研究成果をまとめるために必要な補足的な調査であるとともに、今後の研究のための基礎的な調査でもあった。そのため、資料の収集と共に、ウラマーへの聞き取り調査、マレーシアに居住しているミャンマーからのロヒンギャ・ムスリム難民の調査等を行った。マレーシアでは現地調査を行うとともに口頭発表を一度、カンボジアでは現地のムスリム少数民族チャム人についての調査を行うとともに、カンボジア、インドネシア、マレーシアで口頭発表を一回ずつ行った。国内では、東南アジアと中東をウラマーのネットワークと東南アジアのムスリム社会における公共圏の形成に関する口頭発表を一回行った。
