项目摘要

本年度はおもにサミュエル・ベケットの作品における言語と抽象絵画についての考察を深め、国内外でその成果を発表する好機を得た。5月に開催された日本フランス語フランス文学会全国大会では、学習院大学のＴ・マレ氏の呼びかけに応じて「外国語による演劇（Theatre en langue etrangere）」と題されたワークショップに参加、発表を行った。ベケットの創作言語の特異性について、演劇作品『ゴドーを待ちながら』（1952）を分析し、一読して無意味・不条理に思われるような造語や紋切型表現の反復が音声として立ち現れる際に帯びる批判的含意を示した。8月には、アイルランドのトリニティ・カレッジ・ダブリンへ赴き、ベケット国際学会"Draff"に参加、かねてより研究を進めていたベケット後期の散文作品とフランス人画家ジュヌヴィエーヴ・アースの作品との関係について口頭発表を行った。現在参照しうる書簡や伝記の情報では知られていない両者の関係について、「内的な光」や「白色への傾倒」といったテーマの親近性を指摘し、同時代の美術界からの影響の深さについて各国の研究者と討議することができた。その後、ベケットと同時代の美術界の流れを検討する方針を取り、とりわけ「白色」を重用した1960年代に着目することとなった。直接的交流のなかったイタリア人芸術家フォンタナの「空間派」と呼ばれる芸術運動の在り方などを視野に入れ、12月に行われた日本サミュエル・ベケット研究会にて口頭発表を行い、実りある議論の場を得た。2017年1月には、昨年度の研究成果をまとめた論文がLa Violence dans l'oeuvre de Samuel Beckett（Classiques Garnier）に収録され、フランスにて出版された。

This year, we have a good opportunity to explore the works of speech and abstract painting, and to express our achievements at home and abroad. In May, the National Conference of Japanese Literature Association was held, and the theme of "Theatre in Language Erangere" was organized. In 1952, the author analyzed the idiosyncrasy of speech and the critical implication of speech in his works. In August, he participated in the international society "Draff" and studied the prose works of the late period of the artist's works. Now, referring to the information recorded in the book, we know that the relationship between the people in the book, the "inner light" and the "white color" and the closeness of the book are criticized, and the contemporary art circles discuss the deep influence of the researchers in various countries. In the 1960s, the policy of "white" was adopted and discussed in the contemporary art world. The direct communication between the "space school" and the "call school" movement in the field of vision, December, the Japanese research institute, the oral expression, the discussion field. In January 2017, the research results of the previous year were published as La Violence dans l'oeuvre de Samuel Beckett (Classiques Garnier).
