项目摘要

報告者は、本研究の中心課題であるマンダナミシュラ著作『命令の分析』の講読研究会を行った。研究会は、九州大学片岡啓准教授の指導の下に定期的に行った。テキストの邦訳は、大体全体の三分の二に至ったところであり、当初予定していた全訳にはまだ及んでいないが、今後も氏と研究会を開催しながら、全訳を目指す予定である。今年度、九州大学以外で行った研究活動は、以下の通りである。5月29日～6月2日、ウィーン科学アカデミーにて、『シュローカヴァールッティカ』文意論の章及びその注釈の集中講読研究会に参加した。7月15日～17日、京都大学にてワークショップに参加し、シヴァ教の言語理論についてテキスト講読と発表を行った。7月17日～9月1日、インドのフランス極東学院ポンディシェリ支部において、『ブラフマンの立証』と『三宝の考察』の講読研究会を行った。当地の研究者の指導を受けながら、マンダナの特に聖典解釈学を背景とした哲学を精察し、また正統シヴァ派シュリーカンタの言語理論を明らかにすることを試みた。12月18～20日、ウィーン科学アカデミーにおいてSAPHALA Workshop に参加し、古代から近代までの文法学派の言語理論を代表するスポータ理論について発表した。2月3日～18日、ポンディシェリより研究者を招聘し、九州大学において、マンダナの哲学に大きな影響を与えた5世紀の文法学者バルトリハリの著作『文章単語論』の研究会を行った。その後、筑波大学を訪問し、『文章単語論』『ブラフマンの立証』の研究会を行った。3月5～6日、東京外国語大学 ILCAA 小倉智史博士とともに、京都大学ユーラシア文化研究センター羽田記念館にて、International Workshop on pre-Modern Kashmir 2018を企画・開催した。
