本年度は英語論文4報、日本語論文1報、国際学会2報、国内学会5報、それぞれ発表し、期待通りの研究成果を発表することができた。特別研究員採用期間中に博士論文を提出することはできなかったが、平成30年度中に論文を提出し学位を提出する予定である。平成27年度の研究報告書の通り全体の研究計画について再考し、研究課題を、［課題1］創造説における心：ヴェーダ文献と初期サーンキヤ哲学の連続性と非連続性、［課題2］修行論における心、［課題3］『マハーバーラタ』の言語研究、に整理した。各研究課題についての本年度の実施状況は以下の通りである。課題1 については、ヴェーダ文献の創造説における心は太初の存在の創造意欲を象徴すること、さらにヴェーダ文献の創造説から『マハーバーラタ』の創造説がどのように展開していったのかを明らかにした。またテキストの前後関係を決定する方法論について、先行研究を批判的に再検討し、客観的な観点から思想史を検証する枠組みを提示した。課題2については、修行論において心がどのような役割を果たすと考えられているのかを論じた。課題3については、韻律と定型句の関係について、インドにおける語義分析方法の歴史的変遷について、さらにadhyatmaという語の文法的解釈について、それぞれ研究成果を発表した。特にadhyatmaについては、この語はこれまで認知されていなかった哲学流派のことを指すことがわかり、博士課程以後の研究対象として取り組むこととした。課題1と2の成果によって、心の概念についてヴェーダ文献から初期サーンキヤ哲学への発展を詳細に明らかにすることができた。また課題3では研究の課程で明らかになった問題について成果を発表しただけでなく、特にadhyatmaについての研究は将来的な研究への発展を孕むものであった。。

In particular, adhyatma students know that the school of philosophy is a school of philosophy. After the doctoral program, they will study the image of the students in the university.
