项目摘要

本研究では，感謝感情が社会的ネットワークの認知の正確さに与える影響について検討した。その結果，感謝の喚起は社会的ネットワークの認知の正確さを高めることが明らかとなった。更に，この効果は地理的ネットワークでは確認されず，社会的ネットワークに対してのみ固有のものであることも明らかにされた。ただし，この効果がいかなるメカニズムによって生じているかは明らかにされていなかったため，さらなる検討をおこなった。新たな研究では，感謝の喚起によって駆動される他者志向的な注意がこの効果の背景にあると仮定した検討をおこなった。感謝の喚起の操作をおこなった後に，自己志向的な注意を高める操作をおこなう条件を追加して，社会的ネットワークの認知の正確さを比較した。その結果，当該条件においては感謝が社会的ネットワークの認知の正確さを高める効果は確認されなかった。ここから，感謝の喚起によって駆動される他者志向的な注意が至近因となって社会的ネットワークの認知の正確さを高めるというプロセスの存在が示された。
