项目摘要

2次元離散トーラス上の単純ランダムウォークの被覆時間を第2次オーダーまで定数も込めて精密に評価した.被覆時間とは単純ランダムウォークが有限グラフのすべての点を訪問し尽くすまでに要する時間のことであり, 様々なグラフに対して被覆時間の評価は知られている. 被覆時間の研究において2次元離散トーラスは特別に解析が難しいグラフであり, 被覆時間の第1次オーダーはDembo-Peres-Rosen-Zeitouni(2004)によって精密に評価された. その後, Ding(2012)によって第2次オーダーのある評価が得られたが, その定数がどのようになるかはわかっていなかった. 関連する問題として2次元連続トーラス上のBrown運動の被覆時間を評価する問題があるが, これについてはBelius-Kistler(2017)が分枝Brown運動の研究で開発された手法を駆使することによって, 被覆時間の第2次オーダーを定数も込めて精密に評価することに成功した. 本研究ではこのBelius-Kistler(2017)の手法を援用して2次元離散トーラスに対して同様の結果(彼らの結果の離散版)を得ることに成功した. しかし, 技術的には連続版と離散版で大きな違いがあった. 連続版ではBrown運動が回転不変性をもつため比較的解析しやすいのだが, 離散版では近似的にしか回転不変性が成り立たず, その誤差を慎重に処理する必要があった. このような技術的な困難さを克服できたことは1つの成果であり, このような技術は今後さらに被覆時間の極限などを研究する際に役立であろうと期待している.本研究結果を国内外で口頭発表した. また, 本研究内容をまとめた論文を執筆し, 学術誌に投稿する準備を整えた.
