平成30年度は、1年という短期であったが現地調査、外国語での研究発表、研究成果の社会への還元に努力し、この成果を発揮することができたと考えている。まず、現地史料調査は中国東北部、ハバロフスク、モスクワで実施、本研究テーマに関連する一次史料、専門家及び関係者へのインタビューを行った。日本ではあまり実績のないロシア極東の地方政府公文書館での作業は、本研究の独創的部分であり、その後に実施した学会発表等で活かすことができた。上記の調査研究の成果は、それまでの研究実績とともに学会及び一般講演等で報告した。学会発表の場は国際会議を屋台骨とし、研究成果を外国語で発表することに努めた。ロシア科学アカデミーロシア史研究所でのロシア語発表、アジア世界史大会での英語発表を通して、本研究テーマを幅広い学者層に知ってもらうだけでなく、ロシア人だけでなくアジア、ヨーロッパの学者とも意見交換を実施できたことは、本研究実績の今後の発展に十分寄与する重要な成果として加えたい。学術的場面だけでなく、一般社会への研究成果の還元にも力を注いだ。京都舞鶴引揚記念館にてシンポジウム「海外から見たシベリア抑留」を実施した。本シンポジウムは企画段階から加わり、外国人研究者の招聘を行っての大掛かりなものだった。当日は約70名ほどの一般来場者に対して、現在の抑留研究の状況を説明した。このような学術と一般社会との交流は、本研究が戦後の日本人や日本社会を対象としていることから、当該研究の実施者が強く一般社会に還元したいと考えてのことであり、現在のロシア、日本での研究状況を理解し認知してもらうために重要な場面であった。

In 2010, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China conducted a survey on the situation in the country, conducted research on foreign languages, and made efforts to promote social development of research results. A survey of historical materials in Northeast China, China Japan's local government libraries have been working on the original part of this study, and they have been working on the development of the society. The results of the above investigation are reported in the Institute of Research and General Lecture.
