项目摘要

新型コロナウイルスのここ数年の流行は、教育や教務に変化をもたらした。各担当者は、その対応にあたらねばならず、当課題の研究活動もその影響を免れなかった。そのため、2022年度に科研期間の延長申請を行い承認された。史料・二次文献リストのデータベース化は、石黒らが中心となって進めた。基礎的データ数は約4000と十分な数になった。これらの欠損・誤記の修正を行い、再編纂して公開に備える部分は、森が中心となって進めてきた。再編纂と公開の方針については全担当者が検討を重ね、利用の便益を考慮したジャンル分けとデータの絞込みを行うこととした。書簡の研究論や方法論などの総論部分は、森が主に担当しているが、十分な進捗には至れなかった。書簡や書簡作成術の個別研究に関して、北方の人文主義的書簡を担当する森は、エラスムスの『書簡作成術』を軸に、他の作成術の個別・比較の考察を進めたが、成果をあげるには至らなかった。ドイツ語圏の人文主義的書簡を主に担当する田中は、ツェルティスの書簡の翻訳をすすめ、彼自身が刊行した書簡作成手引との比較に基づいて、相手に望ましい行動を取らせるための戦略的表現を行う上で、書簡作成の方法論を下敷きとして活用した可能性について指摘した。イタリアの人文主義的書簡を担当する石黒は、従来手がけてきたマキアヴェッリ／ヴェットーリ往復書簡の翻訳と考察を進めたが、昨年度は予備的作業にとどまり具体的成果を上げることができなかった。基礎資料である個々の書簡の翻訳は、上記のように進んでいる。対面の合同研究会では再編纂と公開の方針をまとめたが、さらに、research mapに「人文主義者の書簡研究」のコミュニティを開設し、これを活用して文献データや書簡翻訳などの公開することを取り決めた。人文主義者らの思想形成過程の考察、近代教養／近代市民の自己形成の研究においては、進捗が遅れている。
