2022年度はw3（2022年調査）での追跡調査対象者841名と新規抽出調査対象者1338名（2022年2月の調査で今後の調査案内の送付を承諾し，かつ送付先住所が確認できた者）のうち，宛先不明2名と拒否1名（いずれも2021年からの追跡対象者）を除く2176名を対象とし，2022年10月と2023年2月に郵送による依頼・ウェブによる調査を行った．そのうち10月の調査では1596名（73.3%）からの回答を得た．また2月の調査では1603名（73.7%）からの回答を得た．また，2022年6月～8月にかけて，調査項目の公募を実施し，採択件数は9件（共同研究者を含む参加研究者数：延べ28名）となった．調査項目のキーワードとしては，職業，学歴，文化，芸術，教育政策，ナショナルアイデンティティ，測定，階層，国際教育，感情労働などがあげられる．なお，調査項目のうち，事前登録型は1件，実験型は1件のみであった．分析の結果については第73回と第74回の数理社会学会において報告した．分析の結果（1）2021年の初回サンプルと2022年の初回サンプルの比較を行い，いくつか差がみられるところはあるものの，属性の分布に関する全体的な状況は概ね類似していることや，回答時間やSatisficingについても両サンプル間で大差がなかったことなどが明らかにされた．さらに，ベースラインでは男性の回収率が低く，それは特に不利な近隣で低いことが明らかになり，回収率の分析においては地域や人口規模だけではなく，近隣の情報を使用する必要があることが示された．また，追跡調査の分析からは（2）調査を重ねるごとにSatisficerの割合が高くなる可能性が示唆されたものの，調査会社モニタと比較すると全体としては少ないことが明らかとなった．
