2022年度には、前年度に引き続き大学生へのインタビューを実施した。インフォーマント募集においては、性別、所属学部、地方、性体験有無、性的指向などさまざまな点でサンプリングが偏らないよう注意を払った。結果として計54人（男性16人、女性34人、その他4人）のインタビューを終え、2023年度に理系学部の男性6人のインフォーマントを追加募集してインタビューすることを決めた。インタビューの文字起こしを実施中で、文字起こしができたものから情報を整理している。次の研究段階である、インタビュー結果の分析において、どのような分析ソフトを使うか検討した。世界的に使われているMAXQDAの利用を検討するために、研究メンバー全員で、MAXQDAの講習会に参加し、無料試用により注意深く検討したが、日本語データの場合の分析機能がまだ限定されていることなど、大きな欠陥があると考え、このソフトは使わない決定をした。代わりに、無料ソフトであるKHコーダーを使用することに決めた。KHコーダー使用に向け、メンバーが学習をした。若者の性をめぐる、さまざまな現象について研究会で学び、情報交換した。コロナ・パンデミックと人間関係の変化、マッチングアプリの使用、オタク像の変化、性教育情報の普及など、多岐にわたる。
