项目摘要

本研究の目的は以下の3点である。①荒尾精の経済構想における「地方実業家」の位置づけを分析することで「アジア主義」における「地方」の役割を理論的に解明すること、②東亜同文会の言論機関『東亜時論』『東亜同文会報告』の紙面を分析し両紙の読者層や読者組織を明らかにすることで「アジア主義」の受容者・需要者を特定すること、③東亜同文会の地方支部(国内)を網羅的に調査し、特定の支部についてその成立の政治経済的背景を検討することで、「アジア主義」の支持基盤を明らかにすること。今年度における実績の概要は次の通りである。【1880年代から90年代における対外硬言説の流通に関する理論的研究】　東亜同文会が展開した諸活動を地域社会が受容する際の基盤を検討した。具体的には、1880年から1900代において対外硬言説の流通を促した社会経済的諸構造について、「ナショナリズム」「国粋主義」という思想課題が地域の実業家・生産者層、また青年層に捉え返されていく諸相を、分担執筆に加わった研究書において通史的に記述し、また下記論文においても言及した。その際には、近衛篤麿の機関雑誌の全国的な流通網の解明など、メディア史的視点に特に留意した。【東亜同文会の青年会員の意識をめぐる研究】　昨年度に引きつづき、荒尾精の影響を受け、東亜同文会の運動主体となった青年層＝「田舎青年」の意識形態を検討すべく、野﨑武吉郎ら「地方実業家」の経済的支援を受け東亜同文書院(南京同文書院)に入学した神津助太郎、大原信、稲葉岩吉の中国認識形成過程を史料具体的に解明し、論文として公刊した。今年度の研究により、本研究課題の達成には、1900年代前後における「田舎青年」の対外認識形成過程の検討が不可欠であることが判明したため、次年度はこの点の解明に注力したい。

The purpose of this study is to explore the following three points. (1) Analysis of the position of "local entrepreneurs" in the context of Arao Seiki's theory, explanation of the theory of "local entrepreneurs",(2) Analysis of the paper of "local entrepreneurs" in the context of the theory of "local entrepreneurs", explanation of the theory of "(3) The investigation of local branches (domestic) of the East China Association, the discussion of the political background of the establishment of specific branches, and the clarification of the support base for "disobedience". Special attention should be paid to the point of view of the circulation network of the whole country [Research on the Consciousness of Young Members of the East China Tongwen Association] Last year, the influence of Arao Jing was introduced, the main body of the East China Tongwen Association's movement and the youth layer = the ideological discussion of "Tian Wei Youth", and the support of the "local entrepreneur" was received. The East China Tongwen Academy (Nanjing Tongwen Academy) was admitted to the East China Tongwen Academy. Shintaro Ohara, Iwa Yoshihiro's China Cognition Formation Process Detailed Explanation of Historical Materials This year's research is aimed at the achievement of this research topic, the discussion of the formation process of "field youth" around the 1900s, and the explanation of this point in the next year.
