First, the year’s plan is on progress according to the plan: I and Fabio Maccheroni (Bocconi U) had finished a paper on the epistemic foundation for quantal equilibrium, which provides an empirically testable property of population behavior. We have submitted the paper.Second, Tomoo Kikuchi (Waseda U) and I had finished the paper on hegemony and competition between superpowers based on which a data simulation could be run and predictions bout paradigm shift could be made. The study of paradigm shift is rare in the literature but urgently relevant, providing huge rooms for integrating various models (including epistemic GT). We have submitted the paper. We are now extending the model into dominant currency shift.
