项目摘要

本研究は2022年度に「テレビ局による情報発信総体がメディア利用者において現代社会のメディア環境のなかでどのように意味づけられているか」を調査し、学会発表1回、論文1篇を発表することを計画していた。併せて、「これまでに発生した不確実性の高い災害に関するリスク・コミュニケーションに取り組むうえで、テレビ局が直面していた課題はいかなるものか」というテーマについても1回の学会発表を想定していた。この点、前者については2021年度に積み残したテーマも含めた対面でのオーディエンス研究の実施を検討していたものの、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大状況が想定を超えて長引いたことから、研究の遂行には至らなかった。この点は状況の変化に伴い、2023年度に実査が行えるものと考えている。こうした状況にあって本研究は、後者の調査研究を先行して完遂することとした。2021年度から実施してきた調査研究を継続するなかで得られたデータに基づき、2022年度には2回の国内学会発表（「2022年社会情報学会（SSI）学会大会」（発表内容は2022年9月4日の山形新聞で報道）および「日本メディア学会 2022年秋季大会」）での口頭発表と、査読付論文発表（『社会構想研究』4（2））を行った。また、研究成果のアウトリーチ活動として、所属研究機関にて学外向けの講演（「不確実な時代を生き抜く『ネガティブ・ケイパビリティ』を高めるためのコミュニケーションデザイン：共感・対話・多様性」）を1回行った。
