本研究では、富山県国民健康保険特定健診・医療費のデータから、①地理情報システムを用いた生活習慣病、健康リスク行動、医療費の中学校区レベルでの地域間健康格差の可視化（健康ハザードマップ（メタボマップ）の作成）、②機械学習による地域間健康格差（生活習慣病や医療費）のモデル化を行うことを目的としている。令和4年度は、地理情報システムを用いた健康ハザードマップを作成することによる生活習慣病および健康リスク行動の地域間健康格差の可視化を行った。その結果、健康ハザードマップによる中学校区別の有病率では、メタボリック症候群の有病率は、男女とも、県西部に高く県東部に低い「西高東低」の分布を示した。健康リスク行動は、男性では、現在喫煙、運動不足、睡眠不足は、「西高東低」の分布を示した。女性では現在喫煙、毎日飲酒、睡眠不足は県央部に多く、運動不足は県西部に多かった。こうした健康リスク行動の地理的分布の差が、肥満や糖尿病、メタボリック症候群の地理的分布の差の原因となっている可能性があると考えられた。地域間健康格差の可視化は、市町村レベルのものは多数存在するが、中学校区レベルのものは限られている。今後、地域間健康格差の機械学習によるモデル化を行うことで、地域間健康格差の縮小や医療費の適正化等の地域健康課題の解決と持続可能社会の実現に向けた研究を実施する。
