被災直後より継続的に実施されている被災地域住民追跡研究「岩手県における東日本大震災被災者の支援を目的とした大規模コホート研究～Research project for prospective Investigation of health problems Among Survivors of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster (RIAS Study)」の対象地区において，地域における人的・物的資源の震災前後の流出入のデータをとRIASの経年データと紐付けを行うことで，a)『みえる被災』『みえない被災』による震災前後の地域資源の変容実態を明らかにし，b)『みえる被災』『みえない被災』で生じた地域資源格差が心身の健康に及ぼす中長期的影響を縦断的に検討することを目的に実施している．初年度は，RIAS Studyで収集した発災直後からの居住場所，滞在期間についての移動を記した詳細な記録データを整理，発災から現在の住処に至るまでの住居移転の変遷の類型化を試み，それぞれの変遷パターンと特徴について多方面から検討を行った．併せて，災害公営住宅への移転も進んだ2018年度の被災高齢者を対象に，現在の住居形態と「物理環境（騒音やカビ等）」「社会環境（住居状況や社会的支援等）」の関連を明らかにすることを目的とした検討を行い，学術雑誌に報告した．結果，「社会環境」との関連では，震災前と同じ住居に居住している群と比較し，災害公営住宅群で独居者が多く，災害公営住宅，新所新築群でソーシャルキャピタルが有意に低いことが明らかとなった．地域資源の情報収集に当たっては，陸前高田市，大槌町へ出向き，情報の種類や取り組みについて自治体職員，住民から聞き取り調査を行った．

As a result, the relationship between social environment and housing is reversed. Before the earthquake, there are many people living alone in the disaster public housing group. The disaster public housing group is newly built. Information collection of regional resources is carried out in the city of Rikuzentakata and Otsuchi, and information types are selected from the group of local government employees and residents.
