執筆中の『法眼』に関しては予定通り第一稿を完成した。またこれに関連し、東京大学東アジア藝文書院主催「東アジア仏典講読会」にて法眼文益『宗門十規論』の会読を行い、部分的な訳注原稿を作成・発表した。この過程で『宗門十規論』に対する従前の理解の不十分な点を明らかにした。また、2022年6月18日―9月27日の期間、台湾の漢学研究中心による漢学奨助金の援助も受け、廖肇亨中央研究院研究員の指導の下、中央研究院にて訪問研究を行った。訪問期間中に二度の研究報告を行った。また、中国禅宗史に関する最近の研究成果として、廖研究員より黄庭碩氏の博士論文『禅運与世縁：唐宋世変下的禅宗及其開展』（台湾大学、2021年）を紹介され、黄氏と意見交換の機会を持った。黄氏の研究は、8世紀から11世紀末にいたる禅僧の活動拠点の分布に関する詳細な統計を作成し、それにもとづいて禅宗の歴史的発展や禅宗諸派の消長を論じるもので、この期間における禅宗の全体状況を明らかにしている。とくに五代末から宋初における禅門の勢力交代については豊富な示唆を与える。本研究では、これまで行った宋初禅宗に関する思想史的研究の成果を黄氏の研究と結びつけ、法眼宗が宋代の文化になじまなくなっていったこと、また雲門宗の持っていた特殊な言語観が、士大夫に支持されるきっかけとなった可能性があることを示した。これにより、当初からの懸案であった五代末から宋初における禅門の情勢について、より明確な見通しを得ることができた。この成果は京都フォーラム「世界哲学としての禅仏教」（2023年1月28日―29日開催）において口頭で報告を行った。報告内容は論文として出版する計画が進行中である。
