项目摘要

本研究は、１９世紀のチベットで興ったリメー（超宗派運動）の実践家であり、ゾクチェンの加行をわかりやすく解説した『クンサン・ラマの教え』の著者で遊行の成就者でもあったパトゥル・リンポチェ（以下「パトゥル」と略称）、即ちオギェン・ジクメ・チューキワンポの、ハリバドラによる『現観荘厳論　小註』の３種の複註のうち、『語義解釈』を中心に、（1）テキストデータを入力し、（2）校訂するとともに、（３）和訳を通して、（４）本文に織り込まれた詳細な内容見出し（科段）と術語を抽出した上で、（５）パトゥルが手本としたツォンカパの解釈と比較し、異同を整理することを目的とする。ニンマ派学僧のパトゥルが「ツォンカパ尊者が解釈したのに従って」『現観荘厳論』を解説していることは、パトゥルの小註複註の１つである『修習次第』の奥書から明らかであるが、本年度はパトゥルがどのようにツォンカパの学系を受け継いだかを、学友であるコントゥル・ロドゥータイェーの聴聞録とダライラマ５世の『現観荘厳論』の偈と注釈の伝授の相承録、およびゲルク派高僧伝から明らかにした。また、テキスト校訂に用いる版として２点の洋装本と１点の写本を入手し、全体の２／３の校訂を終えているが、東洋文庫所蔵の河口慧海将来写本の中にもパトゥルの3種の『現観荘厳論　小註』複註が現存することが判明したほか、現パトゥル・リンポチェ（ゾクチェン・ラニャク・パトゥル・リンポチェ）の発案・監修により2020年に発行された最新のパトゥル・リンポチェ全集も入手することができた。
