项目摘要

４年計画の初年度にあたる2022年は、2010年代以降のオペラ／音楽劇の動向を最近の学術論文や劇評に基づいて調査するとともに、「あいだ」とそれに類する様々な美的現象について文献を通して考察することに専念した。具体的な実績は以下の通りである。・具体的な作品分析の前提となる理論的基盤の構築に重点を置き、「あいだ」の美学に関する複数の文献を調査した。・本研究の分析軸である「あいだ」の一つの表象として沈黙や不在性に着目し、本研究で扱う21世紀のオペラ／音楽劇作品の分析を行う際の前提として、広くオペラ史における沈黙や不在性について考察を行い、その成果を論文２本と講演１本を通じて発表した。・2023年度にリスボンで開催される国際会議（5th Transnational Opera Studies Conference）での口頭発表を申請し、採択された。この発表では、カイヤ・サーリアホの《余韻 Only the sound remains》および細川俊夫の《松風 Matsukaze》を取り上げ、能を題材とする現代オペラが開く新しい地平を「あいだ」の美学という分析視角から考察する。2022年度は主にサーリアホの作品についての先行研究を調査するとともに、映像資料を分析した。・2025年7月にグラーツで開催される国際ゲルマニスティク協会の国際会議での口頭発表を申請し、採択が内定している。本発表では、細川俊夫の《海、静かな海 Stilles Meer》を考察対象とする。2022年度は本作品における「あいだ」の表象を主に映像資料をもとに分析し、発表準備を進めた。
