2023年3月24日に、一橋大学経済研究所ロシア研究センター・経済制度研究センター・共同利用共同研究拠点共催コンファレンス「世界転換期における新興市場」において、「フルシチョフ期ソ連における割賦販売の開始」と題する報告を行った。同報告は、計画経済を採用したソ連において割賦販売制度が導入されたことの意味、制度化の特徴などについて論じた。計画経済は経済的自由を高度に制約するが、政府は、購買力および消費の自由を高めるという意味で資本主義国と同様の意義を持つ割賦販売制度を、生活水準向上を正当化要因として導入し、この際、必要な信用を最終的にすべて国家に帰着するよう制度を設計したことが明らかとなった。本報告は、本科研のテーマの前提となる研究目標を持つ科学研究費補助金基盤（C）「社会主義体制における個人の経済活動と自由」（課題番号19K0149）の成果でもある。また、2022年12月27日、「冷戦期科学技術政策の変容に関する国際比較研究―スプートニク事件を転換点として―（科学研究費補助金基盤研究（B）研究代表者：松村史紀）」の研究会において、「普通の人のスプートニク：マスメディアは何を人々に理解させようとしたか」と題する報告を行った。この報告で、スプートニク打ち上げ後のソ連の新聞による報道の特徴について論じた。このうち、衛星打ち上げについて解説する科学者たちが、科学の発展と生活水準の向上とを結びつけて論じた点は、本科研で明らかにした。2022年度に予定していた資料収集は、2022年2月にロシアがウクライナに対して侵攻を開始したために叶わなくなった。したがって、一橋大学経済研究所資料室で関連する文献と、近年刊行された書籍を購入した。このほか、ロシアの論文・雑誌データベースで関連の文献を集めた。いずれの文献・資料も上記二つの報告で用いた。
