令和3年の中央教育審議会答申では「個別最適な学び」の考えに基づき、学習者を中心に据えて効果的な指導を実現するための多様な学びの場の一層充実・整備等の重要性が指摘されている(文部科学省,2021)。読み書き困難を示す発達性読み書き障害においても、個々の状態像に応じて調整可能な漢字の読み書き教材の整備が求められている。各学年で学習する漢字は学習指導要領に示されているものの、漢字の学習順序は指定されていない。学校での漢字の読み学習は教科書の内容に基づき進められるため、漢字の学習におけるつまずきは教科書本文の読み困難を引き起こし、教科内容の理解に影響を及ぼす。よって読みの学習効率が最も高まるように効果的な漢字の学習順序やリストを提示することは教科学習の習得を進める上で重要な支援となる。発達性読み書き障害児が示す漢字の読み困難は語彙属性による影響を受けることが知られている。語彙属性には、その言葉の出現頻度や親密度、イメージのしやすさを表す心像性などがあり、語彙属性を調整した読み学習課題を設定することで読み処理に対する認知負荷を軽減させることが期待され、発達性読み書き障害児を対象とした読み支援教材の開発につながることが期待される。そこで、本年度の研究では、語彙属性の一つである「単語の共起性」に注目し、発達性読み書き障害児における漢字の読みにおいて単語の共起性が与える影響について検討した。単語の共起性とは、同一文中で用いられる単語同士の関係性を表しており、単語の共起性が高い場合には、その単語同士が一緒に用いられやすく、単語間の概念的関係性も近い関係であると考えられている。発達性読み書き障害児における漢字の読み成績において単語の共起性の影響の有無やその内容について検討を行い、発達性読み書き障害児への漢字読み支援条件を整理した。
