项目摘要

まず大学施設のあり方に関して、キャンパス計画の観点から既存キャンパスにおける整備方針やデザインコードの形成、学内関係者とともに地域住民も含めた合意形成の方法論、組織論について研究を行った。論点のポイントはマスタープランとともにその骨子となるデザインコードの重要性と合意形成における有用性、これらの仕組みを支える組織の整備の必要性と役割の明確化である。この成果の一部を1996年9月彦根市で開催された日本建築学会大会で発表した。施設計画の点では特にコモンスペースの有効性について着目し、キャンパス外部空間や病院待合の整備前後の評価比較より進めた。大学キャンパスの外部空間について、名古屋大学東山キャンパスの代表的外部空間であるグリーンベルトの再整備を事例におこなった継続研究から、整備前後比較からみた外部空間の環境認識や外部空間のアクティビティについて空間の視認性とアフォーダンスの観点から言及した。この成果は1996年6月にアメリカ合衆国ソルトレイクシティで開催された環境デザイン学会(EDRA)で発表し、関連研究者と議論を行った。また病院待合の研究では、人が居たいところに居られたかという人の居場所の観点から行動分析を行った。物理的には匿名的である並列配置の座席空間における行動と環境認識の分析から、より多様な場所の提供の必要性を論じた。
