项目摘要

①他用途との複合型学校施設である松阪市鎌田中学校、東川町東川小学校、陸前高田市気仙小学校（復興小学校）を現地調査し、関係者へのヒアリング調査から建築および運営上の特性を把握した。特に、公民館と複合化し、福祉部局の窓口も併設する鎌田中学校については、利用者評価アンケート及びヒアリング調査を行い、利用者間の比較分析を行った結果を基に、行政、学校、地域関係者と今後の方向性を検討するワークショップを行った。また前年度からの継続研究として、全国の複合型学校施設の相互利用空間と共同活動内容の関係を、現地調査に基づき考察した。②愛知県豊田市、北海道美瑛町、岩手県奥州市の中山間地域で廃校を地域コミュニティや関連団体が主体的に利活用する事例について、現地でのヒアリング調査を行い、利活用の経緯と既存校舎の転用状況、利活用の成果と課題を把握した。この内、地域の多主体によって利活用が行われている豊田市旭地区の「つくラッセル」については、詳細な調査を行い、廃校利活用における運営者や補助金などのソフト面と、空間構成や規模という学校建築が果たしている役割、そして創発的に新たな活動を生み出すフリースペースの必要性について分析、考察した。また前年度からの継続研究として、廃校利活用における用途と室面積の相互関係、および配置と改修方法の特性に関する研究成果をまとめ、発表した。③長久手北児童館・北小学校区共生ステーションとNPOが運営するソーネおおぞねでヒアリング調査を行い、行政による、また旧商業施設の改修によるコミュニティ・ハブの開設、運営の実態を調査した。④上記の研究経過において、複合施設における行政組織のあり方や展開する活動の見える化の重要性が確認できた。そこでこれらを重視した計画、運営が比較的進んでいる国内外の複合型図書館について、関連部署へのヒアリング調査や現地での視認性調査に基づく分析、考察を行った。
