共同研究者QUI氏は「文化史的視点による日本古代・中世文学の女性イメージ形象に関する研究」というテーマで研究を進めている。私はこれまで日本の古代から中世の宮廷女房による文学、特に女房の存在形態と関わる文学の形成・表象について研究を行ってきたが、それを、女房を中心として、女房以外の天皇家の女性や上流貴族の女性をも含めて捉え直し、また男性の視点やイメージ表象も含みこんで、内外からの文学構築とその文学的変遷について考え、世界におけるその特質を明らかにしたい。またこの機会に、日本だけではなく中国・朝鮮などを含めた東アジアの女性と文学という視点でより俯瞰的に捉えたいと考えている。2022年度は本研究の一年目として、当初の予定通り、議論と検討を何度も重ねながら、共同研究の方向性を探ることに重点をおいた。その結果、異性装、ジェンダーなどの切り口で、日本と中国の双方の文学と文化の生成のありようを、俯瞰的・横断的に考えていくという研究の方向性が定まり、関係資料を収集した。そして2023年2月1日に第一回共同研究会を行い、学外からも広く参加者を招いて、発表と議論を深めることができた。
